Rules of the realm
Eight articles. Short on purpose.
- Article 1
Tribute decides rank
The board is sorted by total tribute, highest first. Ties go to whoever paid first.
- Article 2
Tributes stack
Bid again with the same site or @handle and the new amount is added to your existing total. You never lose what you already paid.
- Article 3
No refunds
A tribute is a tribute. Being dethroned is part of the game, not a defect.
- Article 4
A coup lasts 3 hours
For 2× the king's current tribute you hold a banner above the entire first page for 3 hours. Your coup tribute also counts toward your rank.
- Article 5
Keep it lawful
No malware, phishing, adult content, scams, or anything illegal where we operate. Offending listings are removed and not refunded.
- Article 6
Links are links
Clicks redirect through our counter so everyone can see what a rank is worth. We do not guarantee any amount of traffic.
- Article 7
Titles of the court
#1 is King. #2 and #3 are Dukes. #4 to #10 sit in the Court. The Jester is whoever earns the most visits per dollar of tribute. Titles are for glory; rank is still decided by tribute alone.
- Article 8
The Hall of Kings
Every reign is recorded: who held the throne, for how long, and who took it. A dethroned king is told by email, using the address from their payment, and can reclaim the crown with one click.
